Using Breakout Rooms During a Zoom Meeting

Step 1: On the iPad Zoom Controller select the option for “…more”.

Step 2: Select the option for “Breakout Rooms”

Step 3: Enter the number of Rooms you would like created and then select the desired option for how Rooms are assigned. When done click “Create”. Note that if you selected “Assign Manually” that Zoom will prompt you with a list and have you add students to each room.

Step 4: Once you are ready to have students enter the rooms. Select “Open All Rooms” at the top right.

Step 5: To end Breakout Rooms. Select “End All Rooms” at the top right.

Step 6: To return to the main controller screen, select “Close” at the top left.
