Streams recording interface will launch, and you will see a list of controls along the bottom and right-hand side.


To set up a new recording, make sure your camera and mic are set to the proper source.

If you’d like to turn off the camera and only record your screen either click the X next to your picture or toggle the camera button off on the bottom left.

If you only want to record via your camera, press the Screen button.

Once your recording is all setup, press the “Start screen recording” button in the center of the screen.

You may be prompted to grant your browser the ability to record your screen or use you microphone, follow the on screen prompts to ensure your system permissions are set.
Stream will ask you to choose which tab, window or screen you would like recorded.

If you would like system audio to be included in the screen recording, you must use the “tab option and ensure “Also share tab audio” is toggled on.

Once a recording is underway, the play button will change to allow you to either pause or stop your recording. You can open your video script, draw on screen, or use effects with the options at the bottom of the screen.

When your recording is done, press the stop button.

After you end your recording, you will be given the option to trim and edit your recording.

Make your desired edits and then you can either download your video directly using the arrow in the top right or select finish at the bottom right and the file will automatically be saved in your OneDrive under “My Files”.
